The Venue

Villa Ananda in Punta de Mita, is 45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta in a gated community with ocean frontage on a calm bay. Nearby is the small, yet vibrant, surfer town of Sayulita where you can shop, eat, and even surf. No matter where you turn, you will be greeted by warmth – in the people, the sand, sun and sea.

On this day, you may use it to enjoy an ocean excursion, go to Sayulita for shopping, splurge on additional spa services or have a quiet day to yourself.

In March, the Humpback whales can still be found nursing their babies in the warm waters of the bay. You may even see them from the patio as the babies play and practice their breaching. Also, you can find the infamous Blue Footed Booby on the small islands around the bay.

Yes – especially if you’re a bodyworker, massage therapists, Ayurvedic bodyworker, reiki master, esthetician, or caregiver. We also encourage this training retreat for self-care enthusiast, as all the protocols can be practiced on yourself.

This retreat will help you embrace a joyful approach to integrating Ayurveda and Yoga into your services and self-care practices, learning with others in a small, intimate setting. You’ll be supported by nature, guided practices and community.

This trip is adult-focused and partners are encouraged to join. Imagine practicing these ancient healings on each other in a serene, oceanside Spa.

Of course not! You are in control of your own choices and where your journey will take you. Everyone will earn a certificate of participation. However, if you are attending to receive continuing education credits for your profession, you will only receive CEs for the session you attend in full.

That being said, our set itinerary is developed to support you and your journey in mind. It’s intended to assist you in the transformation you desire, and you won’t want to miss even a step along the way.

Arriving to the area by plane:

Fly into Puerto Vallarta (PRV) by March 15th, 2025.

On March 15th, 2025, transportation from the airport to Villa Ananda with their staff based on your arrival time.

Transportation back to the PVR airport will be arranged based on your departure times on March 22nd, 2025.

All meals will be primarily vegetarian, no meat or fish.
We’ll be sending an intake form to all participants to understand your dietary requirements, food allergies and restrictions. Please be specific about your allergies, sensitivities or intolerances.

You may if you’d like, however, your airport transportation is included and you can arrange transportation with Villa Ananda for taxi services on other days of the week.

While you’re investigating policies, be sure to confirm with your travel insurance provider what Covid-19-related issues are covered and to what extent.

The weather in Puerto Vallarta may be considered perfect by some. In mid March, its very pleasant, reaching into the 80s during the day and low 60s overnight with a gentle ocean breeze off the bay.

When you prepare for this training week, think comfortable, casual, beach and layers. You won’t need anything dressy, so trade the dress shoes in for flip flops, swimsuits and sundresses. Our bodywork sessions can be learned and practiced fully clothed.

Don’t forget to pack your favorite yoga gear for daily yoga sessions!

For the yoga sessions, we’ll have all the props and equipment necessary for classes.

Where we encourage taking this time to unplug from electronics and plug into nature, we’ll have internet access.

At this time participant are not required to have proof of vaccination or wear masks. We recommended to test for COVID-19 if you feel any symptoms. Participant are solely responsible for complying with all COVID-19 travel requirements of their departure and destination country. We reserve the right to adjust this policy to reflect changes in the environment.

If you will be traveling from a country other than Mexico, such as the United States, yes you will need a passport.

Be sure that your passport will not expire within 3 months of your travel dates.
